Step by Step Guide for Final Manuscript Submission:
- Write your paper on the provided A4 doc format of the IEEE Manuscript Templates for Conference Proceedings. The template can be downloaded from the following link:http://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.htmlImportant: The final manuscript must contain a minimum of 4 pages and a maximum of 6 pages, including references and appendices. Papers should not contain page numbers, headers and footers.
- Create an IEEE eXplore compliant pdf file of your final manuscript using IEEE PDF eXpress® service. IEEE PDF eXpress® is a free service provided by the IEEE, however you are required to register before using this service. Instructions on how to use the IEEE PDF eXpress® service can be found below.
Note: Preparation of the final manuscript using the IEEE PDF eXpress® Service is strongly recommended.
- Submit the created pdf file to ICSGTEIS 2014 by uploading the file via your account at Udayana University Conference Management System. In case you have difficulties in uploading the file, please email the final manuscript to icsgteis2014@unud.ac.id or icsgteis2014@gmail.com.
Important: Do not change the file name created by the pdf eXpress service. The file size of the final manuscript must be less than 2MB.
Step by Step Guide for IEEE Copyright Transfer Form Submission:
- The paper submitted to ICSGTEIS 2014 must be original, not previously published or accepted for publication elsewhere, and they must not be submitted to any other event or publication during the entire review process. IEEE policy regarding plagiarism, self-plagiarism and duplicate submission/ publication will be strictly enforced. Further information regarding plagiarism can be found at:

- Download the IEEE Copyright Transfer Agreement Form from the following link:http://www.ieee.org/publications_standards/publications/rights/ieeecopyrightform.pdf
- Complete and sign the IEEE Copyright Transfer Agreement FormImportant: The IEEE Copyright Transfer Agreement must be completed one form per paper, not per author.
- Submit the completed form together with your registration of the ICSGTEIS 2014.Important: Final manuscript submission not accompanied by a valid copyright transfer agreement will not be submitted to the IEEE Xplore®.The ICSGTEIS 2014 Registration can be accessed at the following link:

How To Use PDF eXpress®
In order to assure that all submitted PDF files are IEEE Xplore® compliant, your paper must pass format check using IEEE PDF eXpress®. You must use IEEE PDF eXpress® to generate or verify an IEEE Xplore® compliant PDF. We strongly recommend that all final submissions be created using the IEEE PDF eXpress® service. The IEEE PDF eXpress® service converts your paper from a wide range of formats to IEEE Xplore®-compatible PDFs.
Before Creating a PDF
- Write your final document on the provided IEEE Manuscript Templates for Conference Proceedings.
- Proofread your source document thoroughly to confirm that it will require no revision.
Creating your PDF eXpress Account
- Log in to the IEEE PDF eXpress® site: http://www.pdf-express.org/
- First-time users should do the following:
- Select the “New Users – Click Here”
- Enter the following:
- 34871X for the Conference ID
- Your email address
- A password
- Continue to enter information as prompted.
- An online confirmation will be displayed and an email confirmation will be sent verifying your account setup.
- Previous users
- Follow the above steps, but should enter the same password that was used for previous conferences.
- Verify that your contact information is valid.
- Returning users
- Enter the following:
- 34871X for the Conference ID
- Your email address
- Your password
- For each conference paper, click “Create New Title”.
- Enter identifying text for the paper (title is recommended).
- Click “Submit PDF for Checking” or “Submit Source Files for Conversion”.
- Indicate platform, source file type (if applicable), click Browse and navigate to file, and click “Upload File”. You will receive online and email confirmation of successful upload.
- You will receive an email with your Checked PDF or IEEE PDF eXpress-converted PDF attached. If you submitted a PDF for Checking, the email will show if your file passed or failed.
- If the result is failed, please proofread the generated PDF file thoroughly. There could be missing symbols, equations, graphs and other reported errors. Please make necessary corrections to the source file and repeat the conversion process again. If problems persist, please request advice from the IEEE PDF eXpressâ online help.
- Submit the final manuscript to ICSGTEIS 2014 by uploading the file via your account at Udayana University Conference Management System. Please do not change the file name created by the IEEE PDF eXpress® service. The file size of the final manuscript must be less than 2MB.
Contacting PDF eXpress® Support
- Access the Publications Support Center for IEEE PDF eXpress®.
- If you do not find an answer in the “Find Answers” tab, go to the “Ask a Question” tab.
- Your question will be forwarded to IEEE PDF Support and answered within 3 business days.
Minimum PDF Requirements
Each PDF for IEEE Xplore® must have all of these characteristics:
- Be PDF 1.4 (Acrobat 5) or later but not Acrobat 9.
- Must be created with a PDF distiller. Scanning is not permitted.
- Embeds or subsets all fonts. Doing so helps makes sure that the mathematics appears as intended and improves text searching in the PDF. Please note some TrueType fonts have a setting added by the font designer that prevents the font from being embedded and should be avoided.
- Does not have a password or other security settings.
- Does not contain any bookmarks or links. Links are supported now only by using a summary.txt, readme file, and a packing list. They appear in the IEEE Xplore® TOC as multimedia.
- Does not contain crop marks, registration marks, date stamp, time stamp, or any other mark that does not appear in the official version of the publication.
- Does not contain any PostScript that overrides the settings file.
- Does not use PDF attachments.
- Does not consist of a PDF Package or Merged PDF, a PDF 1.7 (Acrobat 8) feature.
- Must be text searchable.
